Agyness Deyn splits from Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr.

Agyness Deyn has split from rocker Albert Hammond Jr., according to U.S. reports.

The model and the Strokes guitarist have decided to end their relationship - but apparently want to remain friends.

Manchester-born Agyness, 26, was snapped strolling around Manhattan with a mystery long-haired man over the weekend.

She and Albert, 28, reportedly got engaged last August after they started dating last June.

But a report in New York magazine, which ran a 'Relationship Obituary' for Deyn and Hammond, claims this was never the case.

The magazine reports: 'The relationship passed away recently, according to a source close to the deceased.

'It was less than one year old and, contrary to rumour, had not grown into an engagement.' 

It is claimed that they decided to split shortly after appearing together in a Valentine's Day photo shoot for Vogue magazine.

The jokey obituary continues: 'The cause of death [of the relationship] was by mutual agreement and sources say the relationship has been reincarnated as the friendship.'

Former chip shop worker Agyness, real name Laura Hollins, has been hailed as the new Kate Moss by fashionistas.

She previously dated Josh Hubbard of the British band The Paddingtons for four years.

A representative for Deyn was unavailable for comment.

She's previously claimed to not be a fan of fur coats - but British supermodel Agyness Deyn looked pretty snug in this furry looking jacket as she left a party.The 25-year-old was spotted leaving a Christmas bash at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, in the body-length coat, a tight-fitting pink dress and matching bright pink hair band.Last month Agyness -who dates Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jnr - was pictured wearing an anti-fur sticker on her top. (N/A kind of hypocrite, I the one of the blogger, thinks, if this was real fur)


But her glamorous winter jacket indicates she's either changed her mind about the controversial subject or has gone out and found a convincing fake.Just a day ago the model was pounding the freezing streets of New York in a woollen hat and thick scarf - but showing she has a versatile wardrobe she was in navy blue duffle coat.



Agyness is planning to settle down in the Big Apple with her rock star boyfriend. The peroxide-blonde left the party - which had a Christmas tree and treasure hunt theme - by taxi with British fashion designer Henry Holland.

Super stylish Agyness Deyn gets caught by the wind as she goes shopping in New York

Usually so effortlessly stylish, Agyness Deyn looked a little battered, bruised and windswept as she stepped out in New York.
Despite her windswept look, the Manchester supermodel still managed to look chic in her high waisted red-check shorts, vest top, black boots and a pair of fluorescent pink socks as she cycled to the shops.
Although Agyness has only recently relocated to the city, it was good to see she was as patriotic as ever as she clutched a Union Jack purse.

But her normally poker straight blonde locks were looking a little more fluffy and it looks as though she might be opting for a more grown out do.
Agyness took her funky retro bike, an 'Amsterdam Electra', to Co-op Barneys New York where she returned some black lingerie.

And she clearly couldn't resist doing a spot of sale shopping while she was there as she purchased a new pair of black boots which she wore out of the shop.
But the model's legs were looking even more battered than normal and were covered in bruises.

Agyness reportedly got engaged to Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. after just two months together earlier this month.
It came just weeks after Agyness split from The Paddingtons rocker Josh Hubbard, whom she had dated for four years.
She has since relocated from her Primrose Hill home to be with Albert in New York.

Y hola... y les dire esto que tan solo me llegó como rumor y espero no sea verdad pero en fin... JOSH HUBBARD & AGYNESS DEYN cortaron!! y yo de que ¿como? SI! según esto lleván dos meses y así y que entre otras cosas, el motivo principal fue la agenda TAN apretada de Aggy. Ja... bueno pondre los buenos momentos de ellos...
